Drawing on the archetype of the mezzanine, Péninsule takes the form of a mobile structure with the dimensions of a bed. Positioned within a room, it acts as a habitable frame, defined without being enclosed, introducing a domestic thickness where there was only available surface. Conceived as a place for rest, retreat, and appropriation, it combines a bed, a day bed, and a foldable desk, along with mobile elements such as shelves, hooks, and curtains, modulating light, gestures, and presence. Without proposing formal modularity, the object offers a support open to everyday uses and actions. Péninsule is thus defined less by what it allows to be transformed than by the way it is inhabited.
