Torii was born from a gesture, it is a wooden assembly made up of two identical legs and a seat. Its silhouette is characterized by radicalism, apparent simplicity and pure curves. Inspired by Japanese architecture and the monolithic forms of African art, it oscillates between functional furniture and contemplative sculpture. Intended for museum spaces or open architecture, Torii asserts itself as a totemic form, an element that dialogues with its environment. It becomes a presence, an anchor in a space, an invitation to stop, observe and feel.
